The Philosophy of The Pen

The philosophy behind The Pen is a very controversial topic, and there are really no answers to be given.  Research from our resident theologians shows inconclusive results and confusing outcomes.  What is known is that The Pen possesses an amount of power beyond an average pen, and some of that is absorbed by its bearer.  In some cases this power has been detrimental, while other cases show significant improvement in life situations.  Here we will try to pinpoint some basics that are thought to be the "law" or "philosophy" of The Pen.

When one becomes the "Bearer of The Pen", he is immediately given some of The Pen's power.  The Pen seems to prefer certain people to others and may harm one person while it helps another.  Many believe that The Pen chooses an area of your life where the bearer is lacking and enhances that aspect.  The downside is that stronger areas of life may suffer in the process.  It is also believed that if the bearer is in possession of The Pen for too long, (there's not really a specific time frame.  Again, it seems that The Pen chooses how long a particular person can benefit from it) its power is converted into almost completely negative effects.  However, the original Penbearer can hold The Pen for a far greater extended period of time, and possibly even limitlessly.

This is about all that has been determined based on our research and personal encounters.  One thing is for sure, nobody knows exactly how The Pen would react if placed in the original owner's presence.
